What a wonderful way to spend your day with our Plein air painting workshop in Karin Baedeker’s garden, accompanied by cake, tea, and coffee.
Enjoy the brilliance of golden light over Karin’s beautiful scenic garden and let’s capture it on canvas and paper.
With gorgeous views, old trees, wildflowers and a water lily pond, this location will ignite your imagination. It’s a life modeling and painting nature workshop that will inspire and instruct anyone at any level. We are going to paint and to draw in nature with a model from the Fine Arts Academy available for the event.
This is one of those opportunities that doesn't come along often.
Please, bring your own tools.
Participants will take their paintings to completion under the tutelage of Karin Baedeker. She won’t be your teacher but a guide, a friend who loves art and with her passion can give you any advice and help you need during the workshop. And there will be time to view your creations and to exchange ideas. Who is Karin Baedeker?
She is a German abstract painter. She grew up in Bergkirchen, close to Munich.
She studied Art History and Art Pedagogic in Munich, Bamberg, and Hamburg. She paints and plays with colors since she has memory, her mother was a sculptor who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, and her father a creative architect.
Not only is painting the medium through which Karin is able to express herself best, but it also keeps her in balance and anchors her to the present moment. Nature and travel are her main sources of inspiration. For Karin, colors can bring joy and brighten our lives. Join her with this workshop in her beautiful garden!

Up to 6 participants
Open-air: only takes place if the weather is good- otherwise, we will find another date, and if this does not suit you, you will get a full refund of the fee.
You will get any details on how to reach the place when you book.

Please come 30 mins before the time of the event, so we can introduce each other, showing you the place, and give you any info you need to know before starting the workshop
A photographer will be present during the workshop and we will share these images on the website www.ilmiosalotto.com after the event. You are of course also welcome to take your own photos at the event too. Obviously, we respect the wishes of anyone who indicates that they are not happy with their photo being taken and shared.
